At Birdsong, each bedroom is thoughtfully equipped to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The master bedroom features a spacious king-size bed, a recliner chair perfect for unwinding with a book from the bookshelf, as well as a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a fan for warmer nights. The double bedroom offers a cozy double bed, along with a chest of drawers and wardrobe for your convenience. The attic bedroom has a charming single bed, a bedside table, and a fan, ideal for solo travelers or older children. Please note: the stairs to the attic room are very steep and not suitable for people with limited mobility or young children. Baby bed is also available.

Kitchen

The kitchen at Birdsong is fully equipped to make your self-catering stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. It features a logburner for a cozy atmosphere, along with a small table and seating for four, perfect for relaxed meals. You’ll have access to a fridge, separate freezer, gas hob, gas oven, and microwave, as well as essential appliances like a kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. We provide all the necessary cutlery, dishes, tea towels, and a fire blanket for safety. For longer stays, there’s also a washing machine, rotary dryer in the garden, and an iron and ironing board to keep things fresh and easy.

The bathroom at Birdsong is clean, modern, and well-equipped for your comfort. It includes a toilet, a large shower with good water pressure, and a sink with storage space. We provide essential toiletries to get you started, as well as fresh towels for each guest. A hairdryer is also available, so you can pack a little lighter. Everything you need for a refreshing start or relaxing end to your day is right at your fingertips.

Lounge room

The Lounge at Birdsong is a warm and welcoming space, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It features two comfortable leather sofas and a separate recliner, all centered around a large log burner, with sufficient fuel provided for your stay to keep things cozy. For entertainment, there’s a Smart TV and free Wi-Fi, so you can stream, browse, or catch up on emails with ease. The room also includes a large wooden dining table with seating for six, making it ideal for family meals, games nights, or planning your next adventure in Corrèze.

Outside

The outside space at Birdsong offers peace, privacy, and the perfect setting to unwind in the heart of the countryside. You’ll have private parking for up to two cars and your own private garden with garden furniture for relaxing in the sun. A sheltered area with a table and chairs for six makes outdoor dining easy and enjoyable, rain or shine. The property is fitted with smoke alarms and a carbon monoxide detector for your safety. Set in a very rural and exceptionally quiet location, Birdsong is surrounded by farmland—with a cattle farm on one side and a sheep farm on the other—offering a truly tranquil escape. While it’s just a 15-minute drive to local amenities, please note that we are not within walking distance of bars or restaurants.
